From the curation to the attendees, Wanstead Art Trail was vibrant, lively and buzzing with activity. The Stow Brothers was a wonderful place to display my work.
Each day brought about a new group of people who were warmly welcomed into the art work’s temporary haven. I’m glad that they were as pleased with the work while creating it.
The exhibition was featured in Wanstead Art Trail’s magazine and Wanstead Directory's catalogue. It’s very refreshing to be recognised and assisted by the local community. I hope I can continue to help local art communities grow through my artwork, that of my peers, and Barkingside Art Club.
I'd like to send out a special thank you to:
- St Gabriels Church, where Gold Standard was exhibited.
- Victoria Kearny, The Stow Brothers, who selflessly helped to curate my artwork
- Images in Frames, who exhibited Women Who Dared to be Great and my Sketchbook Project
- Donna Mizzi, the organiser of Wanstead Art Trail, who was incredibly helpful and humble leading up to, and throughout the exhibition.
