'I Am Under Construction' is currently showing at @pictorem_gallery,
383 Hoe Street, Walthamstow.

Now extended - until June 30th!

The series explores the relationship between conventional beauty and cosmetic surgery; how we evolve via the construction of artificial masks of beauty. How this will effect concepts of beauty, our perception of self, and thereby our perception of others?

There is still time to see these paintings, along with lots of other interesting works of art from Walthamstow.

In a community brimming with mixed cultures and many schools that house over fifty languages, it is human nature to desire familiarity; however, by building bridges we can become gold. The assembly of art work portrays an abundance of symbols which represent unity and solidarity within society. We need to unite, and not burn in the melting pot. We need to trump hate. #BuildBridges #NotWalls.

This event entails creating a work of art from up-cycled materials for the purpose of educating people on the swift, an endangered species of bird. Our piece is created from an assembly of McDonalds toys which would have otherwise been discarded thereby further destroying the swift’s environment

Here is our beautiful bird taking flight !

Swifts are emblematic of Walthamstow and the Wetlands. They swoop, wheel and dart through out summer skies enjoying airborne feats of flying insects and spiders. @1000Swifts created by the E17 Art Trail is an initiative by local artists celebrating the significance of the Walthamstow Wetlands in our heritage, o...

Check out my submission for the Brooklyn Museum Sketchbook!

My sketchbook is a synthesis of the concept of beauty and the depiction of power in society. It was cathartic for me to fill the pages of this blank book with concepts I have developed over the years as an artist. it is a reminder that the hardship you were borne of and endure in life is not your weakness, but your strength; it is a testament to your survival.

The antlers of a stag, known as the King and protector of the Forest, are a seamless blend of strength and power symbolic of cultural mores. The stag is the King of the Forest. This honoured animal is a protector of other c...

These art works were created with the purpose of raising awareness of issues which are practiced amongst us discreetly. Forced Marriage, Female Genital Mutilation and Honour Abuse are highly controversial topics which have existed the UK for decades.

Often girls who suffer through these abuses are taught to accept them as part of religious practice, culture obligations or just a girl’s fate which she is made aware of sometimes from the day she is born. These abuses remain highly taboo in practising communities, and activists who speak out continue to face a backlash.

I created these art pieces to help non-profit organisation Educate2Eradicate...
